Groundlink is a European service provider within the aviation sector. Throughout 5 countries and 28 national and international airports, our presence is achieved by a strong commitment from our teams to quality and continuous process improvement.Main duties and Responsibilities:
• Proactively support the Head of Safety to ensure the business meets the risk management framework by ensuring compliance with GroundLink health and safety policies;
• Support the field operation with ensuring appropriate oversight through safety inspections and active coach-ing;
• Be the initial point of contact for Station safety escalations and lead investigator on minor incidents;
• Actively promote a fair and just reporting culture and positive safety culture;
• Ensure all accidents and incidents are reported, fully investigated and appropriate corrective processes put in place;
• To participate in internal health and safety reviews, accident reviews and team meetings as directed;
• Conduct document management and ensure that all required safety documents are up to date, relevant and valid;
• Lead on and participate in both internal and external Audits as directed;
• Travel as required or directed to support the business or Stations (in both countries: UK, Austria & Poland);
• Conduct oversight safety inspections at both your Base Station and when on Station visits;
• Build and maintain relationships with Airports, Airlines and 3rd Parties as required.
To succeed in the role the candidate will need:
• Knowledge of Safety Management System (preferably)
• Experience on Aviation Sector (preferably)
• Be certified by NEBOSH
• Fluent in English
• A team worker with a positive attitude
• Customer focused
• Ability to work independently to a high standard
• Ability to work quickly and to a tight schedule in a busy operational environment
Contract
Full-Time, indefinite duration.
